It's nearing the start of a new fall league season, and products are racing in to our store right now! One of the first to release for the new bowling year is the Radical Maximum Results. This latest Results line introduction combines a lower rg core version of the Results core shape, which also raises the differential and mass bias levels to an unheard of level in the bowling industry. All of this combines to create HOOK!

I'll start by saying I usually have very little use for products like this personally. They usually hook too early for me and simply hook too much to use in the places I regularly bowl in. But this ball has been one of the most pleasant surprises I've had in quite a while. While the Maximum Results does create early friction and big hook, it's a very usable level of it, and in the right way. I drilled this ball with my regular pin up drilling. I would never consider drilling balls this "big" with a lower pin layout for me, as that would all but assure an early hook/rollout type of look. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't do it for some of our customers. Regardless of what layout you'd be interested in, the Maximum Results is going to be at home on super heavy oil lane conditions.

Where I was most surprised with this ball was in the first 30 feet of the lane. Usually a strong core/strong surface combination will roll extremely early off of my hand. But the Maximum Results actually clears the heads pretty well for a ball with a 1500 grit sanded surface. This allows the core properties to take over in the mid-lane, where you'll see a huge continuous hook shape all the way through the back of the pin deck. My Maximum Results never really gives up down lane. It continues motoring through any amount of oil on the lane. I eagerly took this ball to the Open Championships a few weeks ago, but unfortunately didn't find enough oil to throw it on. That's how much this piece can turn.

This ball is going to be at home on your fresh league conditions, particularly for our customers with slower hand speed and lower revolutions.
